While working in Uni Bonn, I wanted to add ui-icon to JQuery tabs. This is how I did it: I’ve added .ui-tabs .ui-tabs-nav li a img into the css style and class=”ui-state-error” to the container, thus all users will focus on the important tab. But you can read about the the entire process on my blog.

Windows Live Writer is one of the most popular blog authoring tool that I also happen to like and use because of its features – I especially enjoy the Preview tab. But it has a drawback – no Syntax Highlighting of my code! Let me tell you how I solved this issue.

The User Experience that a library provides must be at least equal with is quality and speed. And frankly, CSVtoLINQ rocks on latest two, but lacks a little on the User Experience(in our case Developer Experience) by not having some events of starting, progress and ending of the parsing.

Very technical project, using numerous tables from a database to estimate the average growth of a number of forests. I developed this application having given by the client the tree characteristics (maximum age, average growth per year, indexes of growth etc) and the activities that must be done periodically to ensure the best efficiency.

XCode bad method of asking for missing frameworks. Lame, Apple!

Yes, the Adamo has a nice design when compared to most of the PC notebooks (BTW, there are also other examples that look nice), but there are worlds between its design and that of the MacBook Air. The Adamo is often compared to this Apple product even if I don’t think that the target group is the same – Apple’s clientele is entirely different from Dell’s. So, maybe the Dell Adamo will be a nice for managers – but not for those that used an Apple MacBook Air, they will continue to use it, and if it’s for running Windows on it. But, frankly – far from a “slap in Apple’s face”.

This competition will stand a chance once they will be able to come up with a version of windows that can match OSX. (and as far as it looks now, windows 7 is still far away from that)

I only wanted to point out that it is the first attempt from PC world to take a share from the Apple Market. And, since there is a big share, maybe in future everyone will want a cut – HP, IBM, Acer etc. This competition is most beneficial to us, users.

Yes, you’re right – but maybe a third party company will do a face lifting to Windows.
